What you're getting
REFFREY is a desktop application and companion plugin for analyzing reference tracks. When you buy it you receive a license key that lets you install and use REFFREY on up to three computers you own or control, for as long as you like, including future updates. The license is personal to you and can't be resold or shared.
Buying
Purchases are made through Stripe's Managed Payments, with Link as the merchant of record. That means Link is the legal seller, handles sales tax and VAT, and appears on your statement. Their terms of sale apply to the transaction. Early adopters who received a free key before launch keep it under these same terms.
Refunds
If REFFREY isn't for you, request a refund within 14 days of purchase from the support page, no questions asked. Once a refund is issued the key stops working. Refunds after 14 days are at our discretion.
Your key
- Keep your key private. Anyone who has it can use one of your machine slots.
- You can move REFFREY between computers by removing a machine from the key in the app.
- We may deactivate a key that has been refunded, charged back, shared publicly, or obtained fraudulently.
What you can't do
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify REFFREY, or bypass its license checks.
- Redistribute REFFREY or your key, or use one key across more people than the license allows.
- Use REFFREY to break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.
Third-party content
Reference track search and previews are provided by Deezer and are subject to Deezer's terms. Audio you import is yours; we don't claim any rights to it and it never leaves your computer.
No warranty
REFFREY is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be error-free or suit every setup. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license.
Changes
We may update these terms as REFFREY evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use REFFREY after a change means you accept the updated terms.
