Hardstyle is defined by what is not there: the sub is 5 dB over pink and everything above 250 Hz sits within a decibel or two of it, giving a nearly flat curve from the low mids to the air. The stereo image is almost fully wide from 500 Hz up, the widest of any set. No kick is outlined separately because the kick and sub are one instrument here; the snare sits high at 369–768 Hz.
