Lo-Fi / Chillhop Frequency Spectrum vs. Pink Noise

Five Lo-Fi / Chillhop records measured against pink noise, every track gain-matched to -14 LUFS:

  • Kupla “Kingdom in Blue”
  • SwuM “Swing For Me”
  • potsu “just friends”
  • Purrple Cat “Silent Wood”
  • Powfu “i'll keep protecting you”

Lo-fi is the darkest set on the site: the sub, bass and low mids all sit about 7 dB above pink, then the curve falls steadily to −8 dB in the high mids, −13 dB in the presence region and −18 dB in the air. That top-end roll-off is the genre, and the five tracks vary in how far it goes. The kick is the loudest part in the table, peaking at 41–76 Hz.
